Evening wander - Aranda and Mt Painter

Part-day walk
Enjoy a pleasant evening wander, with a short teaser in Aranda Reserve and then over to Mt Painter to admire the sunset. At Mt Painter, we will walk along the newly formed summit trail. Approx 6km and all on formed trails. Please bring along a torch/handlamp and meet at dirt parking area on Bindubi Street directly below the powerlines. Please book as usual via Bilby. If walk is cancelled for any reason (e.g., too hot, too wet) valid participants will be notified via Bilby by 5:30pm on day of the walk.

Formed trails - single trails / foot pads, wide fire trails. Some undulation.
Transport information
Self- drive. Participants to meet at dirt parking area on Bindubi Street, directly below powerlines (see drop pin on map). If approaching from the South, this dirt parking area will be on your right under the power lines. Can be a bit tricky to turn into. Easier to approach from Jamison, as the parking area is then on your left side 😀.
A walk or similar activity with a duration of a day or part day. No overnight gear required.
