Rock Outcrops, Tarlo River National Park
Tue 28th May 2024
The park is located about 30 kilometres northeast of Goulburn.
We will follow a meandering route, mostly off-track, in steep spur and gully country covered with low open forests, but not much scrub. The route links up some remarkable weathered conglomerate rock outcrops, and we might see lyrebirds at one location.
It will be an energetic and long walk of 8 hours in duration if we visit the best features.
The walk is in the southeast of the park and does not visit the Tarlo River.
