The walk will start from Little Forest car park which is on the eastern side of the Budawangs. From here we will follow the track out to Rusden Head for magnificent views. We will then descend through the cliff line, which may require a hand over hand, and then drop into the headwaters of Jindalara Creek. We will then walk down Jindilara Creek through unlogged rainforest enclosed by small clifflines before selecting a 4* campsite. On Sunday we walk over to the Pigeon House Firetrail and follow this to Longfella Pass where there are more great views. We will then walk northeast under the cliffline until we find a suitable ridge to take us down to the Clyde River. We will then follow the Clyde River and Pigeon House Creek upstream beside languid pools before camping just below Pigeon House Gorge. On Monday we will start into Pigeon House Gorge and then head back up to Rusden Head.
