Having lead walks under both the southern and northern buttress of Booroomba Rocks previously I though we could do them both in one day. We start from Honeysuckle car park and follow the AAWT turning at the Booroomba Rocks car park and then following the track up to Booroomba Rocks. Once there we will continue on and follow the old rock climbers track down and round to the right, looking up at the ridge and southern buttress, we then return to the ridgeline and take another route down under the northern buttress. These areas offer a very different aspect to Booroomba rocks with spectacular views and lots of rock scrambling. From under the Nth Buttress we then head S/E to ascend back up to Booroomba Rocks swinging round to the W we then head for SH 1353. After lunch we head back to Honeysuckle and the cars.
There is no water so please bring all you need for the day.
