Similar to my previous activity at Black Mountain, on this occasion we will approach the summit of Mt Ainslie, 3 different ways ( 3 up & 3 down). The first and second approaches uphill require a steady effort, with our last / final approach from the back of the quarry requiring more effort. Downhill, the pace will be slower as some parts are steep and rocky, gravelly underfoot. All formed trails and bush tracks, except for one short section from an unnamed knoll passing through Casuarina trees, to link back towards our starting point. Approx 4 hours including a morning tea stop!

A walk or similar activity with a duration of a day or part day. No overnight gear required.
