Bookings not required for Wed walks Gigerline Gorge Leader: Philip Gatenby (0401 415 446) for NPA The walk starts on Smiths Road and follows Reedy Creek (where there may be blackberries) to the Murrumbidgee River. Cross the river and explore the lower sections of Guises Creek. We then climb onto the ridge east of the river and walk north for a couple of kilometres before returning to the river. Continue through Gigerline Gorge to the car park at the Tharwa Sandwash. The walk is almost all off track with rock scrambling, some thick scrub and two river crossings. There will be opportunities for swimming. Horizontal distance of about 10 km and a climb of about 300 m. Short car shuffle. The weather will be hot so bring plenty of water.
