Cross the river and explore the lower sections of Guises Creek . We then climb onto the ridge east of the river and walk north for a co uple of kilometres before returning to the river. Continue through Giger line Gorge to the car park at the Tharwa Sandwash. The walk is almost al l off track with rock scrambling, some thick scrub and two river crossin gs. There will be opportunities for swimming. Horizontal distance of abo ut 10 km and a climb of about 300 m. Short car shuffle. The weather will be hot so bring plenty of water.
