Walk fire trails to hills either side of the lower Corin Road. Walk up via Mushroom Rock to Gibraltar Peak. Huge views there. Return via other fire trails and down the side of Gibraltar Creek. Cross Gibraltar Creek (wet feet) and climb to visit SH985 for views over the Booroomba property. Around 14km and 700vm, CBC L/E-M, BBC grade M(11), NPA grade 3/AB. So towards the top end of Medium. Steep climbs on slippery gravel fire trails. Meet at 7.30am in Lanyon Marketplace car park, up from Maccas and nearest to Tharwa Drive.

(Prospective walkers who are not members of BBC, NPA or CBC must contact the leader to discuss the level of difficulty of the walk. Non club members must also be sponsored and accompanied by a club member.)
