Square Rock & Smokers Trail

Trip Full. From the Square Rock car park on Corin Road, we follow the well defined trail through beautiful eucalypt forests directly to Square Rock, to avoid the later crowds. It is a well loved trail by Canberrans and visitors! After visiting the huge granite tor - Square Rock, which overlooks Corin Dam road and provides great views out to Brindabellas, we visit Orroral Valley Lookout (1km detour) on our way back. Then return to the cars via the Smokers Trail loop. A morning tea break & resting stops during the walk. Lunch is optional. Some sections are a bit boggy - expect wet shoes, also parts are overgrown, so gaiters are recommended.
