This trip replaces my Newnes Plateau canyoning trip, which I've had to postpone due to park closures and remote area restrictions in the Wollemi and Blue Mts National Parks arising from fire risk. With this trip, we'll car camp and do a canyon each day - two canyons in Bungonia National Park, and the Macquarie Rivulet. All canyons will be at least of a moderate level, with some long drops, swims and jump ins. The Bungonia canyons will involve steep exits (at least 400m climbs), whereas the Macquarie rivulet will involve a car shuffle and no climb! Participants can do one or all of the canyons; however, if they don't do the whole trip, they'll have to sort their own transport out. This activity is suitable for people with some abseiling experience or training who want to practise what they've learned.
