E/M Wednesday Walk (CBC sponsored): Strathairn to Uriarra Crossing Return

An out and back track walk that initially takes in the track to Sheperds Lookout from The Link at Strathnairn. We'll take morning tea at the lookout and then head down to the Uriarra Picnic area along an initially steep track, that parallels the Canberra Waste Treatment Works. This part of the walk will involve the crossing of the Molonglo River and a meandering track along the Murrumbidgee River, till we find a suitable lunch spot in the Uriarra picnic area.. We'll return to the Molonglo River via the Uriarra loop track and then retrace our steps to the cars.,
It will be wet and cool so please dress for the conditions. Also, bring water, lunch and morning tea.
