MOUNT JERRABOMBERRA - Trails and Tracks
Wednesday, 10th of June
Leader: Dave Abela for CBC, 0482 802 050 or tangodancing4me@gmail.com
Mount Jerrabomberra is a hidden gem of natural bushland which is criss-crossed by numerous trails and track which are ideal for exploring. I led a walk here last year, but this time we will do a completely different set of trails which will take us around and over this high hill. To get to the top, we will avoid the main fire-trail to the top this time and take the walking track instead. Once at the top, expect to see great views of the surrounding region. We’ll then continue to take various fire-trails and tracks around the base, returning back to the start to complete a 12km loop. Depending on the weather, we can easily modify or shorten the walk.
