Murramarang Coastal Walk - 2 day car camp

Walking on the beautiful south coast is a joy in the winter time. The days are often sunny with mild temperatures and cool (but not freezing!) evenings, which is perfect for a winter walking weekend not too far from home.
The Murramarang Coastal Track traverses a section of coast from Pretty Beach to Maloneys Beach that sits roughly in between Ulladulla and Batemans Bay.
The total walking distance is about 34kms, so we can break this into a nice two day walking experience.. We’ll do 18kms on the Saturday, stay overnight at (or near) Murramarang, then do the remaining 16kms on the Sunday. We will do a car shuffle each day as both are point to point walks.
I’m planning on doing this as a car camp, tent camping overnight on Friday and Saturday at the NRMA Murramarang Beachside resort, which has excellent camping facilities and accommodation options. If you like, the walk can also be done as a full pack, carry everything yourself, trip.
It’s a well formed track but expect lots of gentle hills, some stairs, rock platforms, shallow creek crossings, beach walking and some sections with loose rocks.
