DESCRIPTION:Walking on the beautiful south coast is a joy in the winter 
 time. The days are often sunny with mild temperatures and cool (but not 
 freezing!) evenings, which is perfect for a winter walking weekend not t
 oo far from home. The Murramarang Coastal Track traverses a section of c
 oast from Pretty Beach to Maloneys Beach that sits roughly in between Ul
 ladulla and Batemans Bay. The total walking distance is about 34kms, so 
 we can break this into a nice two day walking experience.. We’ll do 18
 kms on the Saturday, stay overnight at (or near) Murramarang, then do th
 e remaining 16kms on the Sunday. We will do a car shuffle each day as bo
 th are point to point walks. I’m planning on doing this as a car camp,
  tent camping overnight on Friday and Saturday at the NRMA Murramarang B
 eachside resort, which has excellent camping facilities and accommodatio
 n options. If you like, the walk can also be done as a full pack, carry 
 everything yourself, trip. It’s a well formed track but expect lots of
  gentle hills, some stairs, rock platforms, shallow creek crossings, bea
 ch walking and some sections with loose rocks.
