Start at Orroral valley car park walking on the trail to the Geodetic dome for morning tea then off track. Some thick scrub and interesting boulders near top, to Orroral Hill (1609m) with magnificent views. Return same way or via Rabbit Ears then Granite Tors track from the dome). Recommend gaiters and gloves for off track section.
Distance: 12 km. Climb: 700m.
BBC level: Medium (11).

Meeting point: Kambah Village shops (Marconi Cres, opposite petrol station). Be ready to leave at 8.00 am. Cars: 90 km ($15 per person).
Those doing their first Wednesday Walk, and those who are not members of the CBC, BBC or NPA, must contact the leader to discuss the level of difficulty of the walk.
