Evening walk - Little Mulligans

An evening walk through little Mulligans (northern section of Mulligans Flat Nature Reserve). We will complete a 6.10km loop in little Mulligans, starting with an off trail section through the open grasslands passing several dams (fairly low atm) and through open woodlands. We connect up with the Canberra Centenary Trail heading in the direction of the Northern Border Campsite. We only go as far as the high point directly south of Oak Hill. Taking a breather to admire the views here, we then turn around and head down the gravel fire trail (poles are handy for this part) towards the Golden Sun Moth Information site, then back to our cars. With sunset at 7.45pm, we can admire changes in the evening light. Please bring a headlamp / torch for the last part. Gaiters and or long pants recommended for walking through off trail section.
This walk will start and finish at small dirt parking area on Mulligans Flat Road (near the trailhead for walk to Northern Border Campground).
Please book as usual via Bilby. If this walk needs to be cancelled for any reason (e.g., too hot, too wet) valid participants will be notified via Bilby by 5:30pm on day of the walk.
