DESCRIPTION:An evening walk through little Mulligans (northern section o
 f Mulligans Flat Nature Reserve). We will complete a 6.10km loop in litt
 le Mulligans, starting with an off trail section through the open grassl
 ands passing several dams (fairly low atm) and through open woodlands. W
 e connect up with the Canberra Centenary Trail heading in the direction 
 of the Northern Border Campsite. We only go as far as the high point dir
 ectly south of Oak Hill. Taking a breather to admire the views here, we 
 then turn around and head down the gravel fire trail (poles are handy fo
 r this part) towards the Golden Sun Moth Information site, then back to 
 our cars. With sunset at 7.45pm, we can admire changes in the evening li
 ght. Please bring a headlamp / torch for the last part. Gaiters and or l
 ong pants recommended for walking through off trail section. This walk w
 ill start and finish at small dirt parking area on Mulligans Flat Road (
 near the trailhead for walk to Northern Border Campground). Please book 
 as usual via Bilby. If this walk needs to be cancelled for any reason (e
 .g., too hot, too wet) valid participants will be notified via Bilby by 
 5:30pm on day of the walk. * Note if a total fire ban is declared, this 
 reserve closes, and the walk will be cancelled*
