Shoalhaven Rock Ribs
Mon 29th Dec 2025
Bookings available to active members only.
A summer riverside walk to an area of dramatic Shoalhaven River rock strata scenery. We walk initially through fairly open forest, past some shafts from gold mining days, and then descend to the river bank for some strenuous rock-scrambling past unusual rock formations, cascades, large pools and occasional beaches. At least two wades of the Shoalhaven, probably up to knee deep and opportunities for cooling swims. This walk is on crown land and river reserve. Suitable for experienced off track and rock scrambling walkers, must be able to swim.
