Bulee Brook and Clifftops
Tue 16th Dec 2025
Bookings available to active members only.
Bulee Brook is in the western edge of the Budawangs near Nerriga. The area is predominately sandstone country with cliffs, deep gullies, rock formations and swamps. The area was heavily burnt during the bushfires and after four years of regeneration, will try to reach some favorite locations. We start on the Braidwood Rd to Nowra and head southwest across a plateau then drop into some gullies exploring for waterfalls/pools and opportunities for brief cooling dips.
This is a longish off-track walk, with mild to thick scrub, rock scrambling and water crossings. Depending on the scrub and weather, I may shorten the length on the day.
Suitable for fit, experienced off-track walkers. An early start from Queanbeyan will be required.
