Meeting at Lanyon Marketplace, we will carpool to the old Orroral Tracking Station. We will then climb up the ridge to the Granite Tors and former Geodetic Observatory, for morning tea.
After morning tea, we will descend and then head northwest up the valley before having lunch on a knoll and returning to the cars around 2.00 pm,
All of the trip will be on walking tracks, some a bit steep, slippery or rough underfoot.
You are most welcome to bring your motivated teen (they can post to Instagram from the observatory, it is a cool pic), you will just need to sign an acknowledgement of risks before we start. I will reserve 2 spots for teens, so just reach out when you book yourself in.
