DESCRIPTION:Meeting at Lanyon Marketplace, we will carpool to the old Or
 roral Tracking Station. We will then climb up the ridge to the Granite T
 ors and former Geodetic Observatory, for morning tea. After morning tea,
  we will descend and then head northwest up the valley before having lun
 ch on a knoll and returning to the cars around 2.00 pm, All of the trip 
 will be on walking tracks, some a bit steep, slippery or rough underfoot
 . You are most welcome to bring your motivated teen (they can post to In
 stagram from the observatory, it is a cool pic), you will just need to s
 ign an acknowledgement of risks before we start. I will reserve 2 spots 
 for teens, so just reach out when you book yourself in.
