There has been some interest in the Mt Stromlo and Brown Trig walk on 14 October, run for the public in partnership with the Conservation Council. This afternoon’s ramble is for CBC members and guests. Check out the view over the Western Edge from Brown Hill, then visit the Canberra Seismic Station and Space Weather Monitoring Site. Climb Mt Stromlo from the SW to visit Duffields grave. Return through the Stromlo site passing burnt out telescope domes, the Administration building and restored Directors Residence. Around 10km, 300vm climb and 3 hours, mostly on fire trails.
