Hospital to Bogong Creeks Circuit Leader: Lou Alaimo (0428 328 686) We start at Yankee Hat carpark and head east on track to the Gudgenby Bush Regeneration area and Hospital Creek. We explore the creek area then head SW to hopefully find a geological oddity before we reach Old Boboyan Rd. After a few hundred metres and still heading west we take a very disused forestry trail traversing the high side of the slopes above the north end of the valley. On reaching Bogong Creek we walk mostly open ground to make our return. Some nice views of the mounts to our west and of the valley. Very little parting of the bush. Distance 13 km. Total overall ascent: 250-300m. Map: Yaouk. Weather for Wednesday: partly cloudy, 0-10 degrees, 10kph breeze. Cars: 80km, $10 per passenger. Meet from 8:45am for a 9am start at Lanyon Marketplace car park near McDonalds.
