DESCRIPTION:Bookings not required for Wed walks. Hospital to Bogong Cree
 ks Circuit Leader: Lou Alaimo (0428 328 686) We start at Yankee Hat carp
 ark and head east on track to the Gudgenby Bush Regeneration area and Ho
 spital Creek. We explore the creek area then head SW to hopefully find a
  geological oddity before we reach Old Boboyan Rd. After a few hundred m
 etres and still heading west we take a very disused forestry trail trave
 rsing the high side of the slopes above the north end of the valley. On 
 reaching Bogong Creek we walk mostly open ground to make our return. Som
 e nice views of the mounts to our west and of the valley. Very little pa
 rting of the bush. Distance 13 km. Total overall ascent: 250-300m. Map: 
 Yaouk. Weather for Wednesday: partly cloudy, 0-10 degrees, 10kph breeze.
  Cars: 80km, $10 per passenger. Meet from 8:45am for a 9am start at Lany
 on Marketplace car park near McDonalds. Those doing their first Wednesda
 y walk and also prospective walkers who are not members of either the NP
 A, BBC or CBC clubs must contact the leader to discuss arrangements incl
 uding the level of difficulty of the walk.
