**Bookings not required for Wed walks.** Rendezvous Waterways Circuit Leader: Lou Alaimo (0428 32 8686) We start at Yankee Hat carpark and head on track to the Bogong Creek crossing. We cross open ground to the confluence of Bogong and Middle Creeks with Gudgenby River. We then head SW on open ground with Bogong Creek on our left. After joining a section of the Yankee Hat track, we head south on open ground to meet a disused fire trail, a section of which heads steeply up a lower section of Yankee Hat (70m ascent in 350m). Heading north and back on a good fire trail we reach and then parallel Middle Creek before crossing it and making our way to Ready Cut Cottage. We return to the cars via Old Boboyan Rd. The Middle and Hospital Creek crossings may be wet ones. Consider gaiters for open ground sections. If creek crossings are high an alternative similar grade 12-13k walk in Rendezvous south is planned, same start/finish. Distance 13 km. Climbs Total: 150-200m. Grade: Medium (8). Map: Rendezvous Creek. Weather at this stage for Wednesday: Mostly sunny, 20 degrees, 15-20kWNW winds. Cars: 80km, $11 per passenger.
