A 3 day off-track walk into a less-visited area with interesting rocky terrain, one or more cascades or waterfalls, some view points, and very varied vegetation. It will be Kydra if there has been sufficient October rain to keep its creek running and keep bushfire danger low; otherwise it will be Sandy Creek (near Bundanoon).
The dates will be either Saturday 2 November to Monday 4th, or Sunday 2 November to Tuesday 5th, to be decided closer to the date and largely depending on weather. If we do the Sandy Creek walk, there will likely be some pack-passing and a pack weight limit of 14 kilos will apply.

Terrain information
The Kydra walk includes 4 km of fire trail and grassland on Day 1, then grassy woodland, both open and scrubby forest, scrubby heath, steep rock slabs, rocky creeks & a river wade. The Sandy Creek walk has open forest, rain forest, scrub, sandstone creek with at least one wade, slippery rock slabs, rock scrambling, and some very steep loose slopes.
Transport information
A 1 hour 50 minute drive - $130 per car for Kydra; A 2 hour 20 minute drive - $170 per car for Sandy Creek.
