Tinderry Nature Reserve - Eastern Slopes
Tue 24th Sep 2024
Walk
Bookings available to active members only.
Starting from the Tinderry Road, we’ll follow the Round Flat Fire Trail for 5 kilometres then spend most of the day off-track in the catchments of Tinderry and Groggy Creeks before returning on the same fire trail. The off-track section will link up some interesting features including: "Groggy Slabs", Bluebell Swamp and "The Bent Tree". It's a long and strenuous bushwalk, with numerous remarkable granite outcrops and some excellent unburnt forest. The scrub is not as dense as in Namadgi.
