This walk is part of CBC's Super week of Walks celebrating the 40th year of Namadgi National Park, the Canberra Bushwalking Club and bushwalking in general.
We start our walk at the Orroral Tracking Station car park. We follow the track up past the Granite Tors, then turn off and head up towards the saddle on NW side of Mt Orroral and then up to the summit. Our return journey to the car park will be via the Observatory and the Granite Tors.

Terrain information
The route is partly on walking track and partly off track. There is considerable re-growth in the area so we should expect to encounter some thick scrub when off track. Gaiters and gloves recommended.
Transport information
Meet at Lanyon shops just up from McDonald where we will car pool in 3 x cars. Cost $7.00 pp $28 pc.
A walk or similar activity with a duration of a day or part day. No overnight gear required.
