Cocoparra National Park (near Griffith): day walks

Cocoparra is an important natural refuge, near Griffith, four and a half hours west of Canberrra. It offers rugged rocky ranges, interesting vegetation and is a haven for birdwatching.
NSW NPWS has created five tracks for short day walks.
We will walk these tracks and there will be opportunities for bird watching and other appreciation of nature.

Terrain information
The planned walks are mostly on tracks, but the rocky terrain makes scrambling up some off-track ridges very tempting. The terrain itself is eroded rock bluffs and ranges.
