Mark the winter solstice on a ramble in bushland on Mt Ainslie
Sat 22nd Jun 2024
Part-day, Walk
We meet at the Campbell HS carpark for a walk that takes us through open bushland on Mt Ainslie's eastern slopes. We mark the winter solstice at the labyrinth, a circular maze among trees where people are encouraged to pause and reflect on the passing year.
Morning tea is enjoyed at a secluded dam below Mt Majura. We return over the summit track to take in views of the bush capital and mountains
A walk or similar activity with a duration of a day or part day. No overnight gear required.
