Part-day walk
This is a walk through the southern section of Googong. We will walk from the London Bridge woolshed to the old homestead then we walk beside Burra Creek to approach the London Bridge arch from the south. We will continue north to the confluence of the Queanbeyan River and Burra Creek, visiting Washpen Crossing. Returning we will get a different view of the London Bridge arch by approaching from the north. We then return to the cars by crossing the arch. Home in time for lunch.

Terrain Information
Mostly on track. There are a couple of steep slippery downhill sections so walking poles may be a good idea for those who use them. As there are a couple of short sections with long grass some people may wish to bring gaiters.
Transport Information
Drive yourself - meeting at the intersection of Old Cooma Road and Burra Road (see Bilby map). We will convoy from there. Burra Road intersects with Old Cooma Road 8.5km South of the Edwin Land Parkway/Old Cooma Road Intersection. Burra Road intersects with Old Cooma Road 8km North of the Monaro Highway/Old Cooma Road intersection. You choose the route most suitable from your home address.
