Warm Trees 2024 Arboretum
Sun 28th Jul 2024
Part-day, Walk
Come for a walk in the National Arboretum Canberra to view the ‘warm July’ trees. The trees are wrapped in hand knitted scarves, in the national colours of Chile, in various locations in the Arboretum. We will be walking by some of the trees native to Chile. Part way through the walk we will stop and view the film ‘National Arboretum Story’. This will run for 30 mins. We can use this stop for the coffee fix and toilet break. We will then continue the walk and hopefully be back at the cars by mid afternoon. Please dress warmly for a winter's day walk. Please bring a food, water and a sitting pad/stool. Guests welcome.
A walk or similar activity with a duration of a day or part day. No overnight gear required.
