Jerrabomberra ramble

The starting off point is at the Scar Recreation Park off Southbar Road, Karabar in Queanbeyan. We climb up Mt Jerrabomberra through its well preserved bush to a lookout with great views over Queanbeyan, then head down the mountain to cross the Edwin Land Parkway into the adjacent bushland. Here we explore the many footpads and tracks down to Barracks Creek. We follow Barracks Creek along for a while, crossing it many times on charming little footbridges prior to heading back to cross Edwin Land Parkway again to return to the starting off point. A Saturday morning easy ramble, about 12km, 320m elevation gain and you'll be home for lunch.
