DESCRIPTION:The starting off point is at the Scar Recreation Park off So
 uthbar Road, Karabar in Queanbeyan. We climb up Mt Jerrabomberra through
  its well preserved bush to a lookout with great views over Queanbeyan, 
 then head down the mountain to cross the Edwin Land Parkway into the adj
 acent bushland. Here we explore the many footpads and tracks down to Bar
 racks Creek. We follow Barracks Creek along for a while, crossing it man
 y times on charming little footbridges prior to heading back to cross Ed
 win Land Parkway again to return to the starting off point. A Saturday m
 orning easy ramble, about 12km, 320m elevation gain and you'll be home f
 or lunch.
