Rock and ruin - Namadgi NP

Leader JeffB. After a short car shuffle, we follow the Yerrabi Track to Mt Boboyan for excellent views over southern Namadgi's peaks (picture). From there we descend the SW spur off track through light scrub past numerous granite outcrops to Old Boboyan Rd which we follow south until we find a suitable campsite with water. Next morning continue to Naas Ck, take a short detour to Luton's crutching shed, then follow Naas Ck on the fire trail, past the Boboyan Homestead ruin, to the Naas Ck car park. Elevation range 1100-1450m so cooler than Canberra. Leisurely pace.
