Gigerline Nature Reserve: Murrumbidgee R and Guises Creek Circuit

We'll park cars on the western side of the Murrumbidgee R then head down a small spur to the junction of the river with Reedy's Creek. We will cross the Murrumbidgee R at this point (getting our feet wet) and then head up the rocky Guises Creek on the other side. We'll follow this lovely creek a bit till we get to a point where we can climb to a nice open ridge top and follow that along north for some views of the Murrumbidgee R valley below. We'll follow a steep track down to the river and head back along the river south to our initial crossing point and then back to the cars. Participants will need to bring volleys or similar for the Murrumbidgee river crossing which we can leave on the other bank. This circuit will be around 10km with around 200m of ups and downs. If crossing the Murrumbidgee R is not possible due to high water, we will instead start the circuit from the eastern side of Angles Crossing and this will be around 14km.

This activity has been marked as cancelled.
