Leaning Rock Falls

A mostly off-track walk in Kosciusko National Park - alpine meadows, views to Victoria, and a major waterfall. Day 1: From Guthega we will start on the footpad to Guthega trig, then cross the Main Range and descend into Windy Creek to camp above the treeline. 9 km, 400 metres up, 300 metres down. Day 2: With day packs we'll descend 450 vertical metres through scrub to Leaning Rock Falls, and return to camp. 9 km. Day 3. Return to Guthega via the high ridgelines of Tate West and Tate East Ridges, and Mt Tate. 9km, about 20 metres up and 500 metres down.
