DESCRIPTION:A three day walk for the Canberra Day Long Weekend. Drive to
  Mt Werong or Batsh Camp Friday afternoon and camp. Saturday: from the Y
 erranderie Rd-Mt Armour Track junction, walk to Mt Armour and descend to
  the Kowmung River to camp for two nights near the Church Ck junction. S
 unday: optional day walk up ridges to view Chiddy Obelisk and surrounds 
 (add 500 metres to ascents and descents), or explore the limestone outcr
 ops in Church Creek and relax and swim in the Kowmung. Monday: climb Arm
 our Ridge and return to the cars via the Mt Armour Track. A scenic walk 
 in the southern Blue Mountains, attractive campsite, lots of birdlife al
 ong the river with an amazing dawn chorus. Also on the program of the Co
 ast and Mountain Walkers of NSW.
