Walk

Escape the Canberra heat: up there it is up to 5°C to 10°C less hot;
From Corin Dam we climbed steeply up Stockyard Spur (2km long and gaining approx 500 m in height), where we'll leave our camping gear. Then with day packs we'll walk to Stockyard Creek Falls and return collecting our overnight packs and then walking back to bear or around Pryor’s Hut where we'll set up our tents for the night. Our night camp site will depend on how our timing goes on Saturday. E may end up camping closer to the Snowy Flat Creek.
On Sunday morning we leave early with our day packs and walk to the top of Mt Gingera and continue over the top ridge to Mt Little Ginini and Mt Ginini returning back on the Mount Franklin Road to collect our overnight camping gear before we head back down Stockyard Spur to our cars at Corin Dam.

We experience the spring flowers up there; if have seen a youtube movie from there; around 12 months ago walked (recorded in early November 2018).

A good level of fitness is definitely required.
