Trip Full. We will leave Canberra early on Thursday morning and drive to Sassafras and then walk the Endrick River FT to just past Red Johnnys Cave. From here we will drop into the headwaters of Kilpatrick Ck and follow the creek to the spectacular Sluice Box Falls where we will camp in a nearby cave. From the falls we will head east and spend an afternoon exploring the lower reaches of Camping Rock Ravine. The next day we will walk up to the Folly Pt track and go out to Folly Pt to admire the views which I think are some of the best in Australia. We will then go down Watsons Pass, past a large camping cave and down to Hollands Creek which has large stands of old growth forest. The next day we will walk up to Mt Tarn for more great views and use the track past Mt Houghton to get to a delightful campsite on Styles Ck. On the last day we will do a side trip to climb Mt Sturgiss and then go back to the cars via the Mt Tarn track and the Endrick River FT. About 1/3 of our walking time will be on tracks.
