 ong the Murrumbidgee Discovery Track. We’ll start at Casuarina Sands a
 nd enjoy the beautiful scenery along the river on a gently undulating tr
 ack. We will stop at a few vantage points before reaching our turn aroun
 d point at the Knoll Lookout at about the 6km mark. Distance: 13 km. Ele
 vation gain: 300 m. Maps: Tuggeranong 1:25,000 Distance: 13 kms Ascent/D
 escent: 250 m Grading: Medium/Easy (CBC), 6 (BBC) Track Description: All
  on trails, no off-track. Generally gentle hill ascents and descents wit
 h a few gravelly sections. Meeting Time: 8.50 am for a 9:00 am start. Me
 eting Place: Meet at the Dillon Close carpark adjacent to the Weston Ten
 nis Courts (across the road from MacDonalds Weston) Transport: Meet at D
 illon Close then carpool from there to Casuarina Sands Picnic Area. 28 k
 m round trip. $4 per passenger. Weather for next Wednesday: As of Friday
  afternoon, 8C to 26C. A shower or two. 0-6mm rain. What to Bring: Day-p
 ack, hat, sunscreen, 2 litres of water, morning tea and lunch. Walking p
 oles if you use them. Those doing their first Wednesday walk and those w
 ho are not members of the BBC, NPA or CBC must contact the leader before
 hand.
