No bookings required for joint club Wednesday Walks

Leader: Lou A. for BBC

Starting at the car park southern end of Old Boboyan Rd we walk 2km to discover the not so easy to find relics of the Boboyan Homestead site and have morning tea. With curiosity and tummies satisfied we head off track to follow a gully up behind the site to reach a saddle between a set of hilly tops: Pheasant and Boboyan Hills to our SW and unnamed tops to our NE. Following the saddle SE we descend a creek line to emerge with 1km of open ground to reach David Brayshaw's Hut (loo available). Depending on pace and time we will stop for lunch either on the way or at the Hut. The 6/7km up, over and down the saddle is through lightly timbered forest which I believe has not burned for 100 years.
