Wednesday Walk E/M Strathairn to Shepherds lookout and then towards Uriarra crossing

STRATHNAIRN TO SHEPHERDS LOOKOUT AND THEN TOWARDS URIARRA CROSSING

A walk with good views of the Murrumbidgee River, starting at Strathnairn and following the track, rocky in places, to Shepherds Lookout and then on towards Uriarra Crossing, where we will have an early lunch by the river, some 800m before Uriarra.
Climb: about 350m and around 13km.
Forecast: good
Start time: 9.00 am. at the car park just before the Stepping Stone Café. That is, from Pro Hart Avenue, turn left to the end of Gullifer Street.
Note: This walk will appeal to the budget conscious as there are no transport costs.
