 er: Andrew C. for BBC The walk starts at Booroomba Rocks car park off Ap
 ollo Road. We’ll walk up to Booroomba Rocks and follow the ridge NE to
  the end of Booroomba Rocks before heading down steeply off-track toward
 s the origin of Booroomba Creek, then north to Blue Gum Creek. We’ll f
 ollow the creek NE for a couple of kms off-track until we reach Blue Gum
  Creek fire trail. We’ll then return on the fire trails across Bushfol
 d Flats and the AAWT to Booroomba car park. This is a circumnavigation o
 f Hill 1246. The 4kms off-track section varies from medium to thick bush
  (with some Bursaria). Walkers are advised to have gaiters and gloves. B
 ring a small towel if you want to dip your feet into Blue Gum Creek at o
 ur lunch stop. Distance: 14kms. Climb: 510m. Grading: 10 (BBC), Medium/R
 ough (CBC), 2A/C/D (NPA) Map: Corin Dam and Williamsdale. Weather foreca
 st (for Canberra): Min 10 Max 24. 25% (low) chance of at least 1mm. Part
 ly cloudy. Light winds. Meeting point: Lanyon Valley Marketplace shops i
 n time to leave promptly by 8am. Cars: 60 km ($10 per passenger). Note: 
 The road up to Booroomba Rocks is rough (4WDs are recommended). *Those d
