Medium-hard Wednesday walk - Hill 1468 Namadgi NP - bookings not required

From Yankee Hat carpark we go SW beside Bogong Creek for about 3 km before turning roughly south, loosely following a tributary of the main creek for a couple of km. Then climb steeply southwards to Hill 1468. Return via a more easterly route converging with the Old Boboyan Rd which we follow to the carpark. The walk involves a mixture of track, grassland, open forest, thick post-fire regrowth and rock scrambling and should take about 7 hr. Suitable for experienced off-track walkers.
