A NW to SE hike on Mt Taylor. We’ll start from the Colquhoun St entrance and use the footpad that runs up the side of the (usually dry) cascade. Great views from a bluff. From the Taylor trig, we’ll head SE down a rocky footpad to the reservoir, then S and off-track to explore the knoll to the SE of Taylor. Return along the cutoff drain on the SW side. Sunset is at 7.16pm. Around 5.5km and 250vm climb. Bring a torch.
