From the Mountain Creek carpark we make our way to the Ashbrook Trail, follow it for almost 2 km then go off track, steeply uphill, to Mount Domain, joining the Mindjagari Track a kilometre south-east of the summit. Depending on time and the party's inclination, we may explore the top section of a spur to the north-west of Mount Domain which offers expansive views of Tidbinbilla Mountain and the Cotter Valley. Return to the carpark via Snowy Corner on the Mindjagari Track. The walk's off-track component includes thick scrub and scrambling. Suitable for fit and experienced off-track walkers.
