WEDNESDAY WALK E/M Hospital Creek Cascades and Hut

This is at the higher end of E/M as it’s just over 10km and partly off track through generally light woodland. Only about 160m climb. From Yankee Hat carpark we walk along the old Bobeyan Road to a turn off near Frank and Jack’s Hut and follow a track over a gentle rise and down through some bush to Hospital Creek Cascades, a very attractive spot even if water is low. After morning tea we climb a small wooded spur down to the creek valley and follow the edge of the vegetation along to the hut ( and an optional climb of Snoopy Rock) Then a pleasant track out to the road, a detour through light bush to Frank and Jack’s Hut and then back along the fire trail to the cars. Meet at Kambah Village at 8.15 for an 8.30 am departure.
