The Red Track in Bungonia is always a favourite, its a challenging walk offering some great views and lots of fun scrambling over giant boulder. We start our walk at the David Reid car park, the first part of the walk is a steep descent from dry open bushland into a lusher landscape. At the bottom in Slot Canyon it becomes sandy until we reach the boulder field, here we get to climb over, under, round or just slide down the large rocks and boulders. After the boulder field we will take time for lunch before we head to the exit and the steep climb to get back to the cars.

Steep, rocky, high level of fitness require. There may be water in the creek but it will probably need to be treated. In the event of rain or high temps this walk will be re-arranged.
Transport information
Car pool in 3 cars, likely meeting point is Epic Park N Ride. 0700 for 0710 departure. $12* per car, $32 per person. Please let me know if you are happy to drive when making your booking, I will need 2 more drivers.
