 er: Lou A. for BBC From Rendezvous Creek carpark we head to a crossing o
 f the creek to check out riverine boulders before steadly ascending to a
  significant granite outcrop. A bit of bush and a scramble will be rewar
 ded with views west to the mountains and valleys in the Bimberi Wilderne
 ss. We will then head west along the ridge visiting more interesting gra
 nite outcrops and a few other features. We circuit back on the south sid
 e of the ridge for lunch near Gudgenby Homestead. We return over a saddl
 e back to the Rendezvous carpark circa 2:30 and to Lanyon around 3. The 
 walk is mostly off track over open ground however this is an opportunity
  (by choice) to sample granite tor exploration often found on M/H walks 
 (gloves recommended). Distance 10km, 4.5-5hrs, Total ascent 300m, Grade 
 BBC 8. Map: Rendezvous Creek. Transport: 74km, $11 per passenger. Foreca
 st 6 days out is partly cloudy, 11c, 12km WSW wind. Meet at Lanyon Marke
 tplace carpark near McDonalds at 8:50 for 9am start. *Those doing their 
 first Wednesday Walk, and those who are not members of the CBC, BBC or N
 PA, must contact the leader to discuss the level of difficulty of the wa
